Siliguri Durga Puja Theme MuktoDhara by Sarda Sewak Sangha

Muktodhara meaning ‘free-flowing water’… Water that falls from a height fearlessly… It’s bountiful… It’s beautiful… It rages but at times it is calm and serene… It’s loftiness… It’s might… Yet it’s fall from a height to the ground shows it’s humility… Such is the free, fine waterfall.. The Muktodhara… And such is the theme of this year’s Durga Puja at Siliguri.

The Sarada Sewak Sangha Club President, Kalyan Mitra is even the artist of the Puja Pandal decoration. The lighting and sound used will be of high quality. The idol will be the center of attraction of the otherwise beautiful pandal. The pandal will be made of Eco-friendly materials such as bamboo, Khor and plywood.

Some social activity like cloth and food distribution to the poor and needy will also take place during the durga puja.
